Young EngineersYoung Engineers invites your child to explore how things work through hands-on building, simple experiments, and problem-solving. Guided activities help grow curiosity, confidence, and practical skills that connect directly to their learning at home.
There will be two classes run for the 8 weeks.

Outdoor Survival SkillsKaykima Wilderness
Kaykima Wilderness will be offering 3 classes for our students to learn essential skills to surviving in the wild.
Each class has a separate sign up so please pay attention to the tickets you purchase and read the descriptions of the classes below. Classes are for ages 5+ and run from 1:00 - 3:00 pm Class will take place at Nose Creek Park in Airdrie. Parents are encouraged to join in and help their children and learn alongside them. If you have younger children please feel free to stick around and play at the park while your older kids are learning. DetailsClass #1 Monday November16 Firecraft Students will learn the art of lighting fires with tinder, kindling and fuel, how to build a triangle fire and also practice using ferro rods. Class #2 Monday November 30 Bushcraft Torches Students will make and light torches using all natural materials. They will learn about Spruce trees and how the sap from these trees can be used for torches. Class #3 Monday December 14 Basic Wilderness Survival Students will learn what to do in emergency survival situations. They will also learn the art of shelter building. Ages 5+

Meet The HerdThe Sage Mustang
Meet the Herd at Sage Mustang is a relaxed opportunity for ACA At-Home families to connect, learn, and ask questions in person. Spend time together, meet staff and other parents, and see how our learning support and home education programs come to life. Coffee and donuts will be provided.
This is a one hour hang out for the whole family to gather and meet the horses and just relax! Please come dressed to be outside. We will be in the barn for a portion of this hour and then out around the farm as well. All Ages
